There's this blog I love to read. It's called The Pioneer Woman. I found it last year through some other blog.
Have I mentioned how much I love blogs? Yeah, I know, ridiculous. There are worse things. As such, I have a handful of them that I check on most days. Hers is at the top of that list, and especially on days that could use a little more happy. Because...The Happy? Is PW's speciality.
She's a crazy good photographer and seems to enjoy spreading the photography love around with these assignments and tutorials and giveaways, etc. Anyhoo...she's got like a billionty readers, or something, and does these photo assignments once in awhile under the Photography section of her blog. The winner even gets a prize.
The most recent assignment is "Favorites" which after I read her description, pretty much summed up this photo for me.
So, guess who decided to submit one?
When I uploaded mine, there were...wait for it...more than 118,000 photos already in the pool. Freakwad. But, dagnabbit, I still wanted to give it a shot. So, I did.
