So, this picture was not taken today.
It was actually taken several days later.
Why, do you ask?
Because I spent the entire night prior to this day vomiting.
I'll spare you any further details, but it was ugly.
So, about 6am, we decided it was time to head to the ER.
Woke up the kids, got them ready and loaded up.
Then I spent the day there looped up, asleep and rehydrating.
Sweet mercy, pharmaceuticals and quiet hospital beds can be a beautiful thing.

Anyhoo...I got this idea for the picture out of the Sunday paper.
Do you see the little heart-shaped shadow cast by the ring?
The ring is from Finch's year spent in Siberia just before we were married.
The poem is one of our favorites.
